Sort of. It actually came out yesterday.

Ok, mea culpa. I’m a bad book mommy. My newest baby ventured out into the wide world yesterday and I didn’t splash the news all over the blog.

But it’s not because I don’t love this story. I adore Sins of the Highlander. It’s got adventure, an alpha hero to drool for, a pinch of magic and love so deep that it makes me cry.

So why did I not blog about this book’s release on its BIG DAY?

I plead “book head.” I’m deep into wrestling my current WIP to “the end.” So my “problem child” stole my attention from the good kid who did everything right. Isn’t that always the way?

Anyway, I hope you’ll check your local bookseller and if it’s not on the shelves, please ask them for it. And of course, you can find it at all the major etailers!

If you haven’t already, I invite you to check out the excerpt. And be sure to enter my website contest while you’re here. The Grand Prize is a new KINDLE!

Today is also the first day of SINS OF THE HIGHLANDER Blog Tour. Join me at Sia McKye’s Over the Coffee. My publisher is offering a free copy of SINS OF THE HIGHLANDER to 2 lucky commenters! Hope to see you there!

Having multiple books out and some on the way is a good “busy”. Your mind blip is forgivable. Congratulations on your release day + one.

Thanks, Barbara. I shouldn’t complain. I love being busy. Sometimes, though, I think I need a clone. ;-)

    The excerpt was GREAT!

And it’s okay about not saying all this yesterday. What difference does a day make?

    You ROCK!!!

    1. Mia Marlowe says:

Well, according to the publishing biz, it can make quite a big difference. You see, a bestseller is not determined by the number of books sold. True story. Bestseller status is determined by the velocity at with the copies fly off the shelves in the first two weeks following a book’s release date. So listwise, a day’s delay could make a difference.

Didn’t make the rules and I’m having trouble playing by them. But I hope you love our new story!
