Happy 25th Anniversary, Hannah!
Hannah is a New York Times bestseller and something of a living legend. She’s been published since the 1980’s and is still going strong. She started out with Leisure Books (the same publisher I started with) and even dabbled in writing under other pen names (Ditto. The woman gives me such hope!). She’s written historicals set in America and Britain, but has found her true calling with Kensington Publishing in her Scottish set Murray clan.
She has a knack for writing “to die for” heroes and whisks her readers off to her richly imagined Highland world. When we turn the last page, we don’t want to leave and wait anxiously for Hannah’s next release.
A writer with her success might be forgiven for being a bit of a know it all. However, Hannah is nothing like that. She’s incredibly humble and unassuming, attending the local RWA meetings in the hilarious T-shirts for which she’s known. She offers help to everyone, including me. She generously provided cover quotes for my two upcoming Scottish stories, Plaid to the Bone (September 2013) and Plaid Tidings (October 2013). Thank you, Hannah! Your open-heartedness is a real inspiration.
To honor Hannah for her milestone 25 years in publishing, I’d like to offer her fans a chance to win a Hannah Howell book. Three lucky commenters will be randomly chosen to receive their choice from Hannah’s over 40 titles–in print or ebook. Open internationally. Here’s how you enter:
