A Duke of YOUR Own!

In January 2010, I started a serial online novella on my website called A Duke for All Seasons. I posted a chapter a month and invited readers to write in suggestions for what should happen next. It was great fun watching this story evolve. Then mid-year I had to abandon the online novella to complete other work.

But I always felt I’d entered an implied contract with my readers to finish Bella and Sebastian’s story. Now I’m so excited to share that A Duke for All Seasons is available FREE for a limited time at Smashwords! For those who prefer a Kindle format, it’s also offered on Amazon for just 99 cents.

Sebastian Blake, His Grace the Duke of Winterhaven, has reason to mistrust women, which is why he never keeps a mistress longer than the turn of a season. Once her allotted time is up, he expects her to honor the contract she signed and go quietly with a generous parting gift. But then he’s never met a woman quite as tempting as Arabella St. George. Or, since she won’t agree to his contract, one quite as infuriating.

In a few weeks, A Duke for All Seasons will be available at all major etailers for only 99 cents, but right now, I want to send it out free as a “thank you” to my readers. I appreciate your interest in my work and would be thrilled if you’d share the Smashwords or Amazon link with your reading friends.

Hope you love A Duke for All Seasons as much as I love bringing it to you! Drop by and let me know what you think.

Happy Reading!

PS. Don’t forget to enter my new contest! Some lucky reader is going to score an advance reading copy of Sins of the Highlander, my first collaborative novel with New York Times Bestseller, Connie Mason. We had a wicked good time dreaming up Mad Rob MacLaren, a Scottish laird with a thirst for revenge that leads him to steal his enemy’s bride from the altar.

What is it they always say about the best laid plans?

  1. Thanks for the chance to read DUKE for free, Mia! It grabbed me right away: “Someday you’re going to meet a woman who can’t be bought.” Sebastian, you’re in the best kind of trouble.

I linked to it on my FB page–hope to send some new readers your way!
